New born photo shoot

My sister-in-law took some cute photos of Caroline when she was about a week or a week and a half old.  It obviously has taken me a while to post these!

Newborn photo shoots really aren't fair to the new mom.  She looks cute and I look...like I've gained a considerable amount of weight.

I'm going to frame these three black and white photos.  I love them together like this.

Photos

Here are some cute photos from the past few months:

At a 4th of July parade:

All dressed up like cows for the Chick-fil-A cow appreciation day.  You can't see it in the photo, but Rebekah is a black and white Holstein, and Levi is a brown Jersey cow.  I added the spots so that it looked like he'd actually dressed up as opposed to just a kid wearing brown.  (You gotta do it right to get the free meal!)  So cute!

Taking a nap during my sister's wedding dinner:

Dressing up like pioneers (or something like it) for a Pioneer Day themed FHE:

Levi demonstrating how hard it would be to pull or push a hand cart. Yes, I am the hand cart:

Pioneer beauty:

Levi and Caroline's first bath together.  You can tell by her face that Caroline did not deem it a success:

Caroline at 4 months

Caroline's 4 month stats are:
24 1/2 inches long, and 12 pounds 15 oz.
She's growing well, which is always a relief for me.  She is such an adorable little baby, and continues to be happy, calm and alert.  It's fun to see her light up when she sees her brother or sister, and smile and laugh with them.  They both love her so much.  Levi will randomly stop playing or eating, walk over to Caroline, give her a kiss, and then walk back to whatever it was he was doing before.  Rebekah constantly wants to hold Caroline. She talks and sings to her, and can't wait until she is big enough to play with her.
This past month Caroline started to

  • roll over from tummy to back
  • suck on anything she can get her hands on, including her hands
  • grab, investigate and play with her little toys
  • babble and coo non stop
