- Levi still doesn't really crawl, though his army crawl has become more like a regular crawl, but with the belly on the ground. He has done a few real crawls, though.
- Levi pulls up and stands where ever he can. He tries to cruise but doesn't quite have the balance down yet and falls. He's a trooper, though, and gets right back up.
- Levi started clapping his hands and waving bye-bye/hello at 8 1/2 months. (he doesn't wave when I say "bye-bye" but he will copy it when I do it.)
- He still adores Nelson and lights up when he sees him. I think this is so fun, especially because Rebekah is such a mommy's girl. It'll be great for Nelson to have that kind of relationship with Levi (hopefully).
Levi all dressed up for Church (I think he looks a bit like my nephew Miles here.)

Levi at 9 months
9 Months. Hmmm, that sounds a bit old for me. I don't think I'm quite ready for Levi to be 9 months old. I think I'll try to keep him little forever because right now we are having so much fun with our baby and 3 1/2 year old girl. What a fun stage this is. Rebekah and Levi love each other so much. Rebekah wants to make Levi laugh and smile all of the time and Levi just adores her. He looks for her and does his little army crawl to where ever she is playing at the time. It's so fun to watch them play and I look forward to seeing how they continue to interact as they grow older together. I think Rebekah will like having someone to play with in the backyard.
So sick of being sick
My little ones are taking turns being sick. Levi's on his second round so now I guess I'll just prepare myself for Rebekah's second round...
It all started with Levi getting a fever and then a few days later (last Sunday during primary) Rebekah started getting the chills and a fever. Well Levi's was short lived, thankfully, but poor Rebekah had that blasted fever for 6 days! This included two trips to the doctor and blood work. Still they didn't know what was wrong, why the fever wouldn't go away but finally yesterday she seems to have gotten over it. Yeah! Just in time for Levi to throw up all over me at church during a Relief Society activity. So here we are a day later and Levi seems to be doing a bit better - at least he hasn't thrown up everything this morning. Hopefully Rebekah's immune system isn't too low from the fever because I really don't what to keep this up!!!

Talented girls
Our primary had a very cute talent show two weeks ago. Rebekah did a ribbon dance with her two friends Kate and Summer. The day before the talent show we got together and show them some moves and made cute matching shirts for them. (My friends Melissa and Kristen are uber taented and I was lucky enough to get a cute shirt for Rebekah out of the mix!)
Levi pictures
Levi starting clapping this week and I think it's adorable. We don't clap very often so now we have a reason to. Here are a few cute pictures of what Levi's been up to.

Proof that Levi pulls himself up to stand whenever he gets the chance.
Rebekah pushing Levi in her baby doll stroller (he loves it, and we just hope the thing won't break while he's in it!)

Mailboxes
For Valentine's Day Rebekah and I made mailboxes for her and for Levi. They used them at a party and then on Valentine's Morning as well. I filled them with a small treat and a card and had them sitting on the table for them to see when they woke up. It was fun to see their faces and to start a new little tradition for our family. Rebekah was so excited to make the mailboxes so I'm glad I found another reason to use them.
Rebekah wanted a mailbox just like the one outside our house, complete with the flag.

A chance of rain
Rebekah got a new umbrella last month and she is enamored with it. She also found a hand-me-down ballet skirt that she likes to wear around the house. Add to that her rain boots, a need to water the back yard with a tea pot, and her passion for pajamas and you get:
(and yes, the pajama shirt and pants are mismatched. You can never wear too many patterns, right?!)
Who needs a campfire?

Levi at 8 months
My little babe Levi turned 8 months old last week. Here's what he's been up to:
- Levi started to associate the sound of mamama to me and dadada to Nelson right after he turned 7 months. He's pretty consistent with the mamama's and it's pretty cute.
- Levi just recently started to rock back and forth on his knees and to pull himself up to standing.
- Levi loves to eat anything that he can get his hands on. He definitely prefers table food to baby food. He's a little too young to eat it, though, so meal times are becoming interesting around our house.
- Levi finally started to sleep through the night consistently at 7 1/2 months, but has tried to change that the past few days (what's up with this baby and waking up?!)
- Levi has started to experience stranger anxiety and wants me all of the time! It's both endearing and exhausting. It's a good thing that I love to snuggle this little guy so much!
