Levi at 11 months

Yesterday Levi turned 11 months old and I can hardly believe it! He is sooo active and curious. We have a few Curious George books that ask "Are you curious? George is." Well I often think about that statement and put Levi's name in. Boys are definitely much different than girls. Levi is such a mover and a shaker, it's tiring keeping up with him some days.

Here's what Levi's been up to this month:
  • Levi picks up anything and everything he finds and puts it in his mouth.
  • He loves to get into drawers and cabinets to pull the contents out onto the floor.
  • He laughs and grins when mommy says "no".
  • He likes to bite me on the shoulder or leg. This also makes him laugh and/or grin.
  • He loves to eat any form of paper, especially toilet paper. He discovered the T.P. roll about a month ago and loves to grab at it and bite it. The little rascal.
  • And speaking of the toilet, Levi likes to pull off Rebekah's potty seat and stick his hand in the toilet water. Thankfully this has only happened after the toilet's been flushed.
  • He loves to be held, especially by mommy.
  • Levi cruises around the room, holding onto whatever he can to continue on his cruising way.
  • Levi babbles more and more all of the time. He mimics Rebekah's tone and the sound of some words.
  • Levi says "dadda dadda" all of the time.
  • He still loves his daddy so much and cries a bit when he leaves for work.
  • Even if I just touch the door Levi expects to go outside. And gets upset when we don't. (Heaven forbid I have to lock the door after someone leaves!)
  • He loves to follow Rebekah around everywhere and tries to join in the fun. Rebekah has other ideas, however, and is okay if he's around, as long as he doesn't take anything. Yeah, things don't usually end up that way. Sorry, kid.

We are having a lot of fun with our little babe. He is such a joyful member of our little family. We thank Heavenly Father daily for him (and Rebekah). Nelson and I can't imagine life without him and are glad we don't have to.
